We build apps that matter.
KYB is an indie studio working out of Istanbul. We make tools for accessibility, learning, and transcription, because technology should help everyone, not just some.
Kırmızı.
Yeşil.
Beyaz.
Red. Green. White. — A three-color shard.
The name KYB comes from Magic: The Gathering.
In MTG, every color of mana carries a philosophy. Red is passion and creative impulse. Green is growth and natural instinct. White is community and protection.
Together, these three form what players call the Naya shard, defined by warmth, vitality, and collective strength. We took these ideas and made them the foundation of how we build software.
The creative fire to pursue ambitious ideas. The patience to let them grow into something real. And the discipline to always put the people who use our apps first.
Creative fire. The courage to build something new and refuse to settle for the ordinary.
Natural instinct. Building products that endure by working with the grain of how people actually live.
Protection. Designing systems that genuinely serve the people who use them.
Built with care
Every feature is thoughtfully designed to help. We don't ship features, we ship solutions to problems we've felt ourselves.
Accessible by default
Technology should work for everyone. Accessibility isn't a checkbox at the end of the project. It's how we frame the project on day one.
Privacy is non-negotiable
Your data is yours. We build apps that run on-device where possible and never sell or look at what shouldn't be looked at.
